Steve Katzman is a Financial Advisor with IG Wealth Management in the Hamilton & Niagara areas, previously working as the Chief Revenue & Marketing Officer of the Niagara 2022 Canada Summer Games.
Steve joins HDSF with an extensive background in senior marketing and sales. Over 20+ years, and the majority of Steve’s formative career, has been spent with the National Hockey League (NHL), having held many senior marketing & sales positions with NHL team franchisees, including the Buffalo Sabres, Montreal Canadiens, Edmonton Oilers, and the Ottawa Senators.
Steve’s professional portfolio also includes stints with multi-national organizations such as Molson’s, Tim Horton's and Telus.
An advocate for charitable organizations, Steve has been involved with many Niagara not-for-profit groups, including Community Leaders, Wise Guys Charity Fund, St. Catharines General Hospital Foundation, St. Catharines Minor Hockey, and Big Brother Big Sisters of Northwest Niagara.
Steve currently resides in St. Catharines and is married with two children and three step-children. He studied Political Science at McMaster University, and Business Administration at Niagara University.
