Meet Katelynn

Meet Henry

Meet John
After a Parkinson’s diagnosis in 2007, John underwent several medical interventions to aid with his symptoms. A spinal fusion in 2017 for his back problems, and brain surgery in 2019 to insert a brain implant which stimulates parts of the brain to reduce tremors were among the procedures.
The Foundation Office Has Moved

Hotel Dieu Shaver (HDS) Foundation hosted a Strawberry Social celebrating a record year transferring $1.5 million to HDS alongside our donors and staff who made it possible.
New Executive Director Appointed
Hotel Dieu Shaver Foundation Board of Directors is pleased to announce the appointment of Kristina Manzi as Executive Director.
New Accessible Audiology Sound Booth
Thanks to significant grants from the David S. Howes Fund at the Niagara Community Foundation ($43,500) and from The Ontario Paper Thorold Foundation ($50,000), Hotel Dieu Shaver now has three large sound booths to serve the community.
