Our 2021-2022 Donor Report highlights what is possible when a community comes together.
This year, with your support, Hotel Dieu Shaver (HDS) Foundation set a new record! We transferred $867,571 to Hotel Dieu Shaver to purchase vital patient care equipment and fund specialty programs and improvements to treatment areas. This success, even during the global pandemic, is a true testament to our community who remains steadfast in their support of Niagara’s only rehabilitation and complex care hospital.
Looking back on the past year, our hearts are filled with gratitude as we think of the individuals, organizations and businesses who stepped up to ensure patients across Niagara had access to state-of-the-art equipment – like our new medication management system, advanced therapeutic tools – like our visi-pitch system, and unique rehabilitation programs - like our Rankin Family Cancer Rehab Program.
This Donor Report highlights a few of the many ways our community is making a difference for patients across Niagara Region who are fighting to rebuild their lives. Each donation to HDS Foundation is making a direct impact on patient care, helping patients optimize their recovery and restore their quality of life.
